Jilted Generations: The Collective is a Wexford based musical/Artistic collaborative dedicated to exploring the evolution of music and youth culture from the post-war 1950s to todays renaissance of underground Rave. We dissect the history, politics and societal unrest of each era and represent those themes as a collage of visual and audio multi-media interwoven with iconic tracks to give you a unique insight into the music and movements that have shaped our society throughout the decades. Expect an eclectic mix of vinyl, CD, video, live instrumentation and live art as we weave our tales of times gone by and times yet to come. A history lesson that will not be forgotten.

Exploring the youth movements from post World War II, touching on the Teddy Boys gangs, the journey from The Mods to Northern Soul. The Punk scene connecting to the Madchester ( Manchester ) music scenne the conection to the underground rave culture, and from The Mods the birth of DJ culture.

Jilted Generations: The Collective is made up of visual artist Andrew Kingshott, Dj Jeff Furlong, Dj Ronan Buggy and musician Ruben Buggy, Jilted Generations: The Collective gave their first performance at the Wexford Arts Centre on Saturday 17th of November, 2018.

Visuals and audio by Andrew Kingshott, Dj Jeff Furlong and Dj Ronan Buggy on the decks, instrumental accompaniment by the talented Ruben Buggy and featured guest appearances by two highly rated Wexford based artists who created art live on the night. Sarah Doyle and Mirona Mara, who created art live on the night reacting to the music and feel of the night.

The collective 2nd preformance on the 19th January 2019, explored Motown crossing the Atlantic to bring Northern Soul to working class England. See how Funk, Motown and Soul lead Disco, evolving into a seriously radical underground movement in 1970's New York before exploding onto the mainstream, and we close the circle with a narrative dissecting the birth of House and Techno and their spiritual homes in both cities.

Audio and visuals by Andrew Kingshott, Dj Jeff Furlong and Dj Ronan Buggy on the decks, featured guest appearances by local highly rated and talented Wexford based artists. Featuring a live, previously unseen performance piece from highly rated emerging artist Deirdre Buggy and Melanie Myler percussion and rhythm in the form of live drumming from Gerry Dunbar and live art from Mirona Mara and Sarah Doyle.

The Collective 3rd preformance on the 29t March 2019, presented, an audio-visual dissertation on the music culture and history of the mecca of dance, Ibiza island.

Featuring guest Dj Eoin Healy and Dj Conor Cuddihy, join the Jilted posse in a battle of the generations as we explore the background of the infamous white island.

The usual suspects Andrew Kingshott audio visual artist, Dj Jeff Furlong and Dj Ronan Buggy deliver the banging tunes and audio-visuals, there will be a live vocal guest appearance from Mandy Sludds aka Mandy J , and a special contribution coming via drum troupe Bloco Garman. Live art from two highly rated artists studying at Wexford School of Art and Design, IT Carlow.nJamie Sinnott and Kayleigh Harper.

The Collective 4th preformance on 25th May 2019, this time touring the North of England and the massive influence of the area on several different musical scenes. We dive into the ages of Northern Soul, Punk, Post-Punk, the Madchester scene, and the beloved club nights which reached international fame. Expect the usual eclectic mix of art, tunes and visuals as we bring you through the ages...

Jilted Generations Collective in association with Wexford Arts Centre and supported by Wexford County Council present SUBURBICO Music and Arts Festival, 13th July, Wexford Town. 3 events in 2 venues, Wexford Arts Centre and The Creative Hub Mallin St.

Outdoors at Wexford Arts Centre, featuring live music from the magnificent musical maestro Mick Buggy. live art by highly rated Wexford artists, Kayleigh Harper, Sarah Doyle, Padraig Sinnott and Andrew Kinshott plus friends. Performance art, From Michael Carty and Michael White, re-enact their performance piece "Plinth Charming". Jilted Generations Collective D.J Ronan Buggy, and D.J E.T.S. Community arts project, with artist Mirona Mara. kid's drama workshop in Wexford Arts Centre with Melanie Meyler. Mel is well known and regarded in Wexford for her years of experience teaching drama to children and adults alike, and has contributed greatly to the local theatrical scene.

Studio 5 at The Creative Hub Mallin St, 70's themed disco featuring all the glam and classics from the era, with D.J Ronan Buggy.

At Wexford Arts Centre, featuring up and coming female Dublin D.J Anna Candy a.k.a Sleepless Beauty playing 80's/early disco, D.J Buddah dropping some bangin athems.
